Harmony House helps the homeless in the following ways:
- Participants are provided clean, safe shelter
- Participants learn to utilize community resources
- Participants are given the opportunity to address and
resolve educational, employment,
medical, mental health and legal
problems
in a supportive and caring atmosphere.
Harmony House provides
participants with weekly case management meetings and workshops and job training activities.
Transportation is provided for job search.
Transitional Housing:
If residents are in need of a longer length of stay than 90 days, we have ten units of Transitional
Housing. To be eligible for this program, residents must work or go to school up to 40 hrs. per
week and be willing to meet weekly with a case manager to do budgeting and counseling activities.
Rent is charged at a rate of 30% of income with a 2 year maximum stay.
